The President Says That ‘Muslims Are Our Friends’

Enough said. That says it all. Thanks to the courtesy of the Walid Shoebat Foundation.

The President says that 'Muslims are our friends'

Here are the facts Mr President

The Qur'an:

Qur'an (5:51) - "O you who believe! do not take the Jews and the Christians for friends; they are friends of each other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a friend, then surely he is one of them; surely Allah does not guide the unjust people."

Qur'an (5:80) - "You will see many of them befriending those who disbelieve; certainly evil is that which their souls have sent before for them, that Allah became displeased with them and in chastisement shall they abide."    Those Muslims who befriend unbelievers will abide in hell.

Qur'an (3:28) - "Let not the believers Take for friends or helpers Unbelievers rather than believers: if any do that, in nothing will there be help from Allah: except by way of precaution, that ye may Guard yourselves from them..." This last part means that the Muslim is allowed to feign friendship if it is of benefit. Renowned scholar Ibn Kathir states that "believers are allowed to show friendship outwardly, but never inwardly."

Qur'an (3:118) - "O you who believe! do not take for intimate friends from among others than your own people, they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from out of their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater still; indeed, We have made the communications clear to you, if you will understand." This verse not only warns Muslims not to take non-Muslims as friends, but it establishes the deep-seated paranoia that the rest of the world is out to get them.

Qur'an (9:23) - "O ye who believe! Choose not your fathers nor your brethren for friends if they take pleasure in disbelief rather than faith. Whoso of you taketh them for friends, such are wrong-doers" Even family members are not to be taken as friends if they do not accept Islam. (This is the mildest interpretation of this verse from the 9th Sura, which also advocates "slaying the unbeliever wherever ye find them").

Qur'an (53:29) - "Therefore shun those who turn away from Our Message and desire nothing but the life of this world."

Qur'an (3:85) - "And whoever desires a religion other than Islam, it shall not be accepted from him, and in the hereafter he shall be one of the losers."

Qur'an (3:10) - "(As for) those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah, and these it is who are the fuel of the fire." Those who do not believe in Muhammad are but fuel for the fire of Hell (also 66:6, 2:24. 21:98).

Qur'an (7:44) - "The Companions of the Garden will call out to the Companions of the Fire: "We have indeed found the promises of our Lord to us true: Have you also found Your Lord's promises true?" They shall say, "Yes"; but a crier shall proclaim between them: "The curse of Allah is on the wrong-doers" Muslims in heaven will amuse themselves by looking down on non-Muslims in Hell and mocking them while they are being tortured (see 22:19-22.

Qur'an (1:5-7) - "Show us the straight path, The path of those whom Thou hast favoured; Not the (path) of those who earn Thine anger nor of those who go astray" This is a prayer that Muslims are supposed to repeat each day. "Those who earn Thine anger" specifically refers to Jews and "those who go astray" refers to Christians (see Bukhari (12:749)).

There are verses that contradict the above however the peaceful friendship verses were written when Mohammed had few followers and when he had many follower the verses switched to violence. The previous verses were abrogated by the later verses. If verses contradict each other that should be a big question as to the validity of such a faith.

So Mr. President if you are not a Muslim why are you using Al Taqiyah to deceive the American people about Islam.

Wake up America, just look at the evidence.

Florida Pastor Says Koran-Burning Will Not Happen

AFP

Sept. 9: Dove World Outreach Center pastor Terry Jones speaks to the media in Gainesville, Florida.

A Florida pastor said Friday he will not burn Korans this weekend after appearing to walk back a similar pledge the day before.

In two television interviews, the Rev. Terry Jones said the book-burning "is not going to happen," but also repeated his claim that an imam told him the controversial Ground Zero mosque would be moved in exchange for his decision.

"Absolutely no doubt about it," Jones said.

A disagreement between those two religious leaders over the mosque had thrown into doubt Jones' announcement Thursday that he was calling off the Koran-burning, a protest meant to mark nine years since the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks. After meeting with Imam Muhammad Musri, the president of the Islamic Society of Central Florida, Jones said he was assured he had a bargain that the mosque planned in lower Manhattan would be moved. The decision was met with relief, as top government officials and international organizations had warned that the burning would pose a security threat, particularly to U.S. troops overseas.

But Musri insisted he never promised to change the location and that Jones "stretched my words." The imam in charge of the New York Islamic center and mosque project also quickly denied any deal was made. Musri repeated that claim Friday.

Florida Pastor Cancels 9/11 Koran Burning

Claims 'Ground Zero mosque' will move Jones, after backpedaling to say the Koran protest was merely suspended, said it was canceled Friday and that he hopes to still hold a meeting with the mosque developers in New York City Saturday.

Jones spoke on ABC and NBC Friday morning.

Despite Jones' wavering, many in Asia greeted the news not to burn the Koran with relief, though some said the damage already has been done. Muslims consider the book the sacred word of God and insist it be treated with the utmost respect.

Cleric Rusli Hasbi told 1,000 worshippers attending Friday morning prayers in Indonesia, the world's most populous Muslim country, that Jones had already "hurt the heart of the Muslim world."

"If he'd gone through with it, it would have been tantamount to war," the cleric said in the coastal town of Lhokseumawe. "A war that would have rallied Muslims all over the world."

This should say it all. Islamic leaders say that their countries allow for other religions to co-exist and yet they would make a statement like that. The so called art of an upside down cross in a jar of urine is considered culture. Christians don't go on rampages over that, yet where are we as the church? We mustn't be as radical as this Floridian pastor but we should also not shy back from being in the public square making people aware of God's wrath on our nation for our trespasses. And we also shouldn't shy back from not voicing our political views as a church for the sake of those who wouldn't here the truth otherwise.

A day earlier in New York, the Islamic center project leader, Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, said in a statement that he was glad Jones had backed down but that he had spoken to neither the pastor nor Musri.

"We are not going to toy with our religion or any other. Nor are we going to barter," Rauf said. "We are here to extend our hands to build peace and harmony."

This is so nice to know. But it's in the face of the former statement that any such act would be considered war.

Opponents argue it is insensitive to families and memories of Sept. 11 victims to build a mosque so close to where Islamic extremists flew planes into the World Trade Center and killed nearly 2,800 people. Proponents say the project reflects religious freedom and diversity and that hatred of Muslims is fueling the opposition.

Moving the mosque is not why Jones canceled his threat, Musri said. Instead, he relented under the pressure from political and religious leaders of all faiths worldwide to halt what President Barack Obama called a "stunt." Musri said Jones told him the burning "would endanger the troops overseas, Americans traveling abroad and others around the world."

"That was the real motivation for calling it off," Musri said.

Jones had never invoked the mosque controversy as a reason for his planned protest at his Dove World Outreach Center. Instead, he cited his belief that the Koran is evil because it espouses something other than biblical truth and incites radical, violent behavior among Muslims.

Obama urged Jones to listen to "those better angels," saying that besides endangering lives, it would give Islamic terrorists a recruiting tool. Defense Secretary Robert Gates took the extraordinary step of calling Jones personally.

Jones' church, which has about 50 members, is independent of any denomination. It follows the Pentecostal tradition, which teaches that the Holy Spirit can manifest itself in the modern day.

The cancellation also was welcomed by Jones' neighbors in Gainesville, a city of 125,000 anchored by the sprawling University of Florida campus. At least two dozen Christian churches, Jewish temples and Muslim organizations in the city had mobilized to plan inclusive events, including Koran readings at services, as a counterpoint to Jones' protest.

This is apostacy in the pure. If we as the church and synagogue have to read the Koran from our pulpits just to make aware of a sensitive situation a book burning of the Koran would cause, where is our biblical truth? We have straight away from the teachings of the Bible. The church in America, at least within the main stream context has become corrupt and is rotten at the core.

Jones said at the news conference that he prayed about the decision and concluded that if the mosque was moved, it would be a sign from God to call off the Koran burning.

"We are, of course, now against any other group burning Korans," Jones said. "We would right now ask no one to burn Korans. We are absolutely strong on that. It is not the time to do it."

Despite Jones' words, in the Gaza Strip, Hamas Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh said to a crowd of tens of thousands of Muslim faithful that they had come "to respond to this criminal, this liar, this crazy priest who reflects a crazy Western attitude toward Islam and the Muslim nation."

"We came to say, the Koran is our constitution, we are committed to God and his holy book," he said to those holding the texts in their hands at a stadium in the northern town of Beit Lahiya. "God willing, should they try to carry out their crime against the Koran, God will tear their state apart and they will become God's lesson to anyone who tries to desecrate the holy book."

This only confirms the earlier statement made by the other cleric that burning the Koran is a declaration of war.

Part of the pressure exerted on Jones came from Gates who briefly spoke to the pastor before his first announcement to call it off. Gates expressed "his grave concern that going forward with this Koran burning would put the lives of our forces at risk, especially in Iraq and Afghanistan," said Pentagon spokesman Geoff Morrell.

Morrell said earlier that the decision to issue a personal appeal was not easy because it could provoke other extremists "who, all they want, is a call from so-and-so." Earlier, Jones had said if he was contacted by the White House that he might change his mind. After Gates' call to Jones, Morrell said the secretary's "fundamental baseline attitude about this is that if that phone call could save the life of one man or woman in uniform it was a call worth placing."

In Afghanistan, where tens of thousands of U.S. troops are in harm's way, President Hamid Karzai said he heard Jones had perhaps abandoned his Koran-burning plan.

"The holy book is implanted in the hearts and minds of all the Muslims," he said from Kabul. "Humiliation of the holy book represents the humiliation of our people. I hope that this decision will be stopped and should never have been considered. I ask the world for peace and stability and the respect of each other."

Again, whenever have Christians retaliated because they felt humiliated? Furthermore do we as Christians identify as a people? No. Not at all! Rather we identify ourselves as the church of Christ that has nothing to do with a culture or people or creed but all that give their lives to the Father and his son and therefore are called children of God. How vastly different this is from Islam where "true" believers do not even know if they have it what it takes to make it to paradise.

Exchange Between My E-mail Warrior Friend Ercille Christmas (contributor to The New Media Journal) And I

This is not exactly an exchange. But it is my response to an e-mail that I received today from my e-mail warrior sister in arms addressed to everyone on her e-mail list and as often being passed on, by me, to my contacts as well. As a matter of fact, I didn't even realize that Ercille Christmas, being a former British subject from the island of St. Kitts, is a black individual till I saw a picture of her with her faithful lifetime lover (play on words, it is a classic Ford MustangJ), followed soon by a tongue in cheek comment about herself over the Democratic Party's double standard on behalf of a remark that Harry Reid made, of which similar "racist" statement by Trend Lott lead to the same's resignation from the Republican Party. I came to love Ercille throughout the years for her wit and very often biting satire and humor. At the same time I'm glad to say that we are truly siblings in Christ Jesus.

From Ercille:

I should be given a medal. I managed to listen through a radio discussion between a radio host and a James Rucker, co-founder with Van Jones (remember him), of Color of Change. They are apparently trying to get stations to not carry Fox News Channel, and businesses not to take out ads, because Fox encourages "rhetoric that is divisive and racist."

When I look back, I realize that I came here a very naive person, believing in the "goodness" of people. I was not hung up on race, because like Aunt Charlotte sang in "Oklahoma," my adopted mother brought me up to feel that I "was just as good, and no better than anybody else." I may have slightly misquoted Aunt Charlotte, but you get my drift. It was to convey the idea of equality, based on being created by the same Creator. Of course we have free will and we deviate. Since moving here I have come across some real "deviants," in the sense that they will not let this country let go of racial issues. They will keep stirring that racial stew because it is lucrative to them.

I related this story to some of you already. I was once invited to a public radio station, small, to tape a show with the host (black lady). She invited me back a second time to be part of a panel (all black). I did not say what I was expected to say, and I knew that I would not be invited ever again. I have not been. I gave my unflinching opinion about my dislike of affirmative action, the failure of many black men to be there for their offspring, and letting go of slavery as an excuse.

I guess that those of us who are still rational and deal with people as people, instead of as a color, will have to continue doing what we do. Thank you for not judging me on the color of my beautiful caramel-colored hue!

To Ercille:

Dear Ercille,

If anything, I'm encouraged by people like you, Lloyd Marcus, Walter Williams, Thomas Sowell and Clarence Thomas and many more that especially because of the Tea Party movement come out of the wood work. If you wouldn't exist, you almost would get caught into the trap of thinking that this is normal and this is how it should be. But it's because of this vivid contrast from people being indoctrinated and carrying a chip on their shoulder as a result of that and people like you and I who grew up with a set of moral standards of good virtues and the knowledge of right and wrong REGARDLESS of color that gives me true hope. The only question is, who else benefits from this so called racial divide aside from the Black Supremacist leaders, Jesse Jackson el al who pocket the proceeds into their own coffers. I would point straight at the American/World Elite whose sole agenda is to weaken America and to make us all the same across the board (i.e. global governance, surveillance state).

God bless you and make His face shine upon you,

              Andy :-)

Justice for Sholom Rubishkin Update

New information shows that Judge Linda Reade, who presided over the Rubashkin trial and sentenced him to 27 years in prison, spent more than six months working to plan the raid on the Agriprocessors plant in Postville.

The judge never disclosed her work, or offered to recuse herself from the trial.

The new information sheds light on some of the decisions that Judge Reade made while presiding over the Sholom Rubashkin case, including imposing a sentence of two years more than what prosecutors recommended.

She apparently had a personal stake in the outcome of the Rubashkin case because she had been involved in the planning of the Agriprocessors raid for more than six months.

Show your support for Sholom Rubashkin by telling the Justice Department to investigate the prosecution and trial of Sholom Rubashkin.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR SHOLOM RUBASHKIN:

1.       Read the articles in the National Law Journal.

2.       Send a respectful e-mail to the Department of Justice Office of Intergovernmental and Public Liaison (oipl@usdoj.gov).

3.       Tell them to investigate the prosecution and trial of Sholom Rubashkin.

4.       Remind them that more than two dozen former senior Justice Department officials – including six former U.S. attorneys general – said it would be an "absurdity" for a sentence of life in prison, or anything close to it, for a 51-year-old, first-time, non-violent offender.

5.       Go on Facebook and Twitter and ask your friends to send an e-mail as well.

6.      Forward this e-mail to family, friends and fellow supporters of Sholom Rubashkin.

7.      Ask your friends and family to visit http://www.justiceforsholom.org and sign up to receive e-mails like this one.

Please note: It is inappropriate to send e-mails or other correspondence to the judge in this case or the appellate court. Please direct all e-mails to the Department of Justice Office of Intergovernmental and Public Liaison at oipl@usdoj.gov. Please keep your comments respectful at all times.

Together, we can show prosecutors and the legal community that concerned citizens are watching the case of Sholom Rubashkin, and that he deserves "equal and fair administration of justice under the law."

SALT IN THE WOUND written by Rita W. Jones

Yes Folks, I'm back again. The computer was out for about three weeks now and you know what? I didn't miss it a bit. But now I'm back on and whatever is news worthy, at least in my own humble estimate, I pass on to you. And I can see already the cumulative thoughts going, "oh no, we are being beleaguered again." Please, pass this on wide and far so that we will never forget.

Reconciliation Between German Christians And Messianics From Israel.

LausitzNews.de | Das Nachrichtenportal für Ostsachsen » Nachrichten: Pirna - Tag

I really want to share this. As a German it means a lot to me. A group of Christians and Messianics (Jews that believe in Jesus) from Israel came together at a memorial of the atrocities of Nazi Germany. The site was in Dresden and it was one of many established clinics with the sole purpose to euthanize the unwanted, including Jews. The meeting was established by a city official who is also member of "Friends Of Israel," and an evangelical (Lutheran) pastor. Even so it is all in German but you can sense the feeling that prevailed especially amongst the Germans for being able to have this great burden of this particular part of history that took place just 65 years ago, lifted off their shoulders.

There are two people who speak English, though. One of them is none other than Carolyn Hide who she and her husband Richard happen to be friends of a friend of mine in Germany. They met in Munich and live in Tiberias, Israel, I believe. To hear her testimony means the world to me and shows that there can be true reconciliation.

Click on the link above, scroll down just a little bit and wait for the video to download on the web site. As I said, it's all in German but two of them, both Israelis, give a testimony in English.

Thank you Richard, thank you Carolyn for sharing this. Baruch Hashem.

Justice Department Files Suit Against Arizona Immigration Law

Published July 06, 2010

| FoxNews.com

Attorney General Eric Holder speaks to the media in Kabul June 30. (Reuters Photo)

Accusing Arizona of trying to "second guess" the federal government, the Justice Department on Tuesday filed a lawsuit challenging the state's immigration policy -- claiming the "invalid" law interferes with federal immigration responsibilities and "must be struck down."

In the suit, which names the state of Arizona as well as Gov. Jan Brewer as defendants, the Justice Department claims the federal government has "preeminent authority" on immigration enforcement and that the Arizona law "disrupts" that balance. It urges the U.S. District Court in Arizona to "preliminarily and permanently" prohibit the state from enforcing the law, which is scheduled to go into effect at the end of the month.

"Arizonans are understandably frustrated with illegal immigration, and the federal government has a responsibility to comprehensively address those concerns," Attorney General Eric Holder said in a written statement. "But diverting federal resources away from dangerous aliens such as terrorism suspects and aliens with criminal records will impact the entire country's safety. Setting immigration policy and enforcing immigration laws is a national responsibility. Seeking to address the issue through a patchwork of state laws will only create more problems than it solves."

Brewer slammed the U.S. government saying the suit is a "massive waste of taxpayer funds."

"It is wrong that our own federal government is suing the people of Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law. As a direct result of failed and inconsistent federal enforcement, Arizona is under attack from violent Mexican drug and immigrant smuggling cartels," she said in a prepared statement. "Now, Arizona is under attack in federal court from President Obama and his Department of Justice."

She went on to say, "the irony is that President Obama's Administration has chosen to sue Arizona for helping to enforce federal immigration law and not sue local governments that have adopted a patchwork of 'sanctuary' policies that directly violate federal law. These patchwork local 'sanctuary' policies instruct the police not to cooperate with federal immigration officials."

The suit, which drew tough criticism from state lawmakers Tuesday, claimed the state law focuses only on getting rid of illegal immigrants and "ignores" other immigration objectives.

"The United States Constitution forbids Arizona from supplanting the federal government's immigration regime with its own state-specific immigration policy," the suit says. "A policy that, in purpose and effect, interferes with the numerous interests the federal government must balance."

Click here to read the lawsuit.

Arizona lawmakers slammed the administration over the suit Tuesday.

"This is the wrong direction to go," Rep. Harry Mitchell, D-Ariz., said in a statement, calling on the administration to devote its resources to border security.

Twenty House Republicans wrote a letter to Holder in protest of the decision. Republican Arizona Sens. John McCain and Jon Kyl released a joint statement calling the suit "premature."

"The Obama administration has not done everything it can do to protect the people of Arizona from the violence and crime illegal immigration brings to our state. Until it does, the federal government should not be suing Arizona on the grounds that immigration enforcement is solely a federal responsibility," the senators said.

The court action comes just days after President Obama delivered a speech calling on Congress to tackle a comprehensive overhaul of the nation's immigration system. In the speech, he criticized Arizona's law and warned that national legislation is needed to prevent other states from following suit.

The president did not mention the lawsuit, but one had been widely expected for weeks. After the administration initially said it would take the law under review, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton revealed last month in an interview with a foreign television network that the administration intended to challenge the Arizona policy.

The Arizona law, passed in April, makes illegal immigration a state crime and requires local law enforcement to question anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant on their residency status.

Several civil rights and law enforcement officials lauded the administration's actions Tuesday.

Lucas Guttentag, director of the American Civil Liberties Union Immigrants' Rights Project, called it a "critical step" to undo Arizona's "unconstitutional usurpation of federal authority and its invitation to racial profiling."

"The administration's lawsuit is a cannon shot across the bow of other states that may be tempted to follow Arizona's misguided approach," he said. The ACLU had already filed a legal challenge, which Guttentag said it would continue to pursue.

The Arizona law touched off an intense national debate over immigration. The results of any court challenge would have wide-ranging implications, as a number of other states and jurisdictions have taken up tough immigration policies similar to Arizona's.

The Obama administration has meanwhile tried to use the law as the impetus to prod Congress into tackling an immigration bill. While Arizona lawmakers defend their law as necessary to patrol the border, Obama described it last week as "unenforceable" and a vehicle for civil rights abuse. He said a "national standard" is needed and that he won't "kick the can down the road" any longer.

Republicans bristled at the speech, though, and continued to urge the administration to better secure the border before tackling a comprehensive bill -- which would likely include a pathway to legal status for millions of illegal immigrants.

Brewer told Fox News in June that Arizona would not back down from its law.

"We'll meet them in court ... and we will win," she said, calling the administration's actions a "disappointment."

I am literally broiling, or should I say I was. This just tips off everything that I have heard so far. People may say that Obama is not a leader, he has no clue how to run a country. No! Folks, let me say this clear and loud, we are dealing with evil. Plain and simple. If those that voted Obama into power (do we really have a vote that counts today with lobbying and people pulling the strings behind the scenes, I'm not talking about the alleged voter fraud of 2000) are not waking up by now that what is going on in our country will lead us into absolute disaster of which we won't come out for generations if not Christ's coming will happen before hand, than what does it take for them to ever realize who they voted into power. And that goes for the cabal that is part and parcel of this whole administration. I can say only one thing - if states will consider the option to secede from the Union than they have every G-d given right based on our constitution to do so. Preferably we unified rid ourselves from everyone that is holding office today and put those in that have G-dly ideals and believe in the principles upon which this nation has been founded on.

Maybe this is strong language. But it is five before twelve to write, call, and/or e-mail to our Represantatives and Senators and let them know very clearly where WE THE PEOPLE stand on.
